Hello all, today I thought I would bring you an easy valentine craft. We don’t go all out for every holiday, but its fun to add a little pizazz for the season. This year I wanted to dress up my dining room a little, so I whipped up this Valentine’s day canvas with some things I already had on hand.
I used some pink/love scrapbook paper and cut it to resemble a bunting type flag.
Next I used my Cricket Cuttlebug to cut out some letters, of white adhesive vinyl. ( I would LOVE to have a Silhouette, but sadly at the moment I don’t.) Then attached them to the bunting/flag. If you don’t have a cutting machine, tracing out some lettering then cutting with an x-acto knife would work well too.
I had this 12×12″ canvas I purchased form Wal-Mart waiting for another protect. Any canvas will do, even wrapping some fabric around an old frame.
I attached the flag to the canvas with some double sided tape. I still plan to reuse the canvas for my other project, so I didn’t want anything permanent. Voila, easy peasy valentine art!
Do you decorate for Valentine’s day?
