Happy Canada Day!
Today I thought I would share a quick and easy Canada Day treat with my fellow Canadians. (Or anyone who likes candy covered popcorn.)
The process is really quite simple, similar to my chocolate covered pretzels. I used my air popper to pop a batch of popcorn. I then melted some candy melts on the stovetop, and poured the melted candy in to deposable piping bags.
Next I spread out the popcorn on to some waxed paper, then drizzled the warm candy over the popcorn and topped with sprinkles.
When cool break in to pieces, put in festive bowl or treat bag. Then spend a ridiculous amount of time styling, taking and editing photos and posting to blog about your creation. Oh no wait, that’s just me you can just eat yours. Enjoy!
